What Esek connects to and which way data moves, what setup needs from your business, and how long it takes. Every connection uses your own account with that service, and you connect it from the app. Nothing needs to be installed on your website or servers.
1. Channels
- WhatsApp BusinessTwo-wayThrough the official WhatsApp Business Platform. Customer messages come in, replies go out from your own number. You can keep using the WhatsApp Business app alongside Esek.
- Incoming phone callsInboundUnanswered calls to your existing business line forward to Esek, and the AI secretary answers. Your number stays with your carrier.
- Instagram and MessengerTwo-wayConnected through Meta. Messages land in the same inbox.
2. Calendars
- Google CalendarRead and writeEach team member connects their own calendar. Esek reads only when they are busy, so bookings avoid those times, and adds bookings to a separate calendar it creates. Details of their own events stay private.
- Microsoft OutlookRead and writeThe same as Google Calendar: busy times are read, bookings go to a separate calendar.
Bookings are kept in the Esek calendar either way, so connecting a calendar is optional.
3. Payments and invoicing
- CardcomTwo-wayPayment links are created in Esek and the payment status comes back automatically. Needs your terminal number, API name and API password, with the Low Profile module enabled on the terminal.
- Grow (Meshulam) and TranzilaTwo-wayThe same, for an existing account with the provider.
- PaddleTwo-wayThe same, with your own Paddle account.
- Any other providerLink onlyBit for Business, PayBox, Pelecard, PayPlus, Stripe, PayPal and many more: paste your payment page link, and confirm payments yourself.
- Morning (Green Invoice) and iCountWriteWhen a payment comes in, Esek issues the receipt in your account and sends the customer a link to it.
4. Business systems
- EasybizyTwo-wayEsek imports your services, staff, customers, leads and appointments, and checks availability in Easybizy before booking. New leads, customer corrections and bookings made in Esek go back to Easybizy. Call summaries go back only if you switch that on. Recordings and transcripts stay in Esek. Connected by the workspace owner with an API key and secret from Easybizy.
Using another system? Request it from the Connectors screen in the app.
5. Imports, API and webhooks
- Your websiteReadRead at signup to draft your business description, and again whenever you ask, to draft answers you review before keeping.
- Google Docs and Google SheetsReadDocuments you choose become knowledge for the AI. A sheet you choose can fill your catalog. Only files you pick are opened.
- CSV and vCard filesImportContacts from CSV or vCard. Products and services from CSV.
- Lead webhookInAny form tool can send new leads straight into your workspace: Elementor Pro, Contact Form 7, or your own form posting JSON with a phone field.
- Esek APIRead and writeWorkspace API keys, each with its own read and write permissions for customers, leads, bookings, catalog, calls and conversations. Keys expire and can be revoked at any time.
6. What setup needs from you
- For WhatsApp: a phone number for the business that is not the one you sign in to Esek with, and the Facebook login of whoever owns the business on Meta. A Meta Business portfolio can be created during setup. To keep the WhatsApp Business app, version 2.24.17 or later.
- For calls: a business line whose carrier allows forwarding of unanswered calls, access to that phone to dial the forwarding codes, and the AI phone line, a monthly item paid from your balance.
- For payments: the API details from your payment provider, or just your payment page link.
- For Easybizy: an API key and secret, with permission to read and update the records listed above.
7. Moving from what you use today
- Your WhatsApp number. Keep it. On the WhatsApp Business app, you connect by scanning a QR code, keep the app, and bring up to 6 months of chat history. On personal WhatsApp, move to WhatsApp Business first: it is free and keeps your chats. If the number sits on another WhatsApp Business account, from an earlier provider for example, it has to be removed there first. The WhatsApp guide covers each case.
- Your phone number. Nothing moves. You forward unanswered calls, and your phone still rings first.
- Your calendar. Keep using Google Calendar or Outlook, and connect it so bookings avoid busy times and show up there.
- Customers and products. Import them from files, or bring an export from your current system to the free guided setup call.
- Your payment provider. Keep it, and connect it or paste its payment page link.
8. Security review
Data is hosted on Google Cloud in the US, encrypted in transit and at rest. The tokens that connect your WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger accounts are stored encrypted. For a review:
- Security: how messages, links and files are checked, and how accounts are protected.
- Data Processing Agreement
- Sub-processors, including the integrations a customer chooses to connect.
- Compliance
- Privacy policy and data deletion.
