A Hebrew AI voice agent answers a business's phone calls in Hebrew, follows what the caller asks in ordinary speech, and finishes the job: it books the appointment, answers from your hours and prices, or takes a message.
Esek.io is an AI secretary for businesses that answers phone calls in Hebrew and messages on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger. "Esek" is also the Hebrew word for "business", so search for Esek.io.
What does it do on phone calls?
- Answers the calls you don't. Your phone rings first. Unanswered calls forward to the AI secretary.
- Books in the call. It offers open times, then books, moves or cancels the appointment in your calendar.
- Answers from your details. Hours, services and prices come from your workspace.
- Takes a message otherwise. The request lands in your inbox with a notification, so you know who to call back and why.
What does it do on WhatsApp?
The same AI secretary answers WhatsApp messages and works from the same customer file as your calls. It books appointments, sends reminders and sends payment links in the chat. It also answers Instagram and Messenger. You connect your number through Meta's own signup.
How much does it cost?
Every workspace gets a free allowance each week. Past the allowance, you pay for usage from a prepaid balance. The pricing page lists every price.
| Free every week | 10 text conversations and 10 incoming call minutes. Unused amounts do not roll over. |
|---|---|
| Incoming call minute | 0.99 ₪ for the first 500 minutes in a month, 0.79 ₪ up to 2,000, then 0.59 ₪. Billed by the second. |
| Text conversation | 0.99 ₪ |
As of 1 November 2026. The full price list is on the pricing page, which is the authority.
Do I keep my phone number?
Yes. Customers keep dialing the number they already have. You dial a short forwarding code once, set to forward when unanswered, and your phone still rings first. Do not choose "always forward", or your phone stops ringing. The call forwarding guide shows the steps.
How long does setup take?
Signing up and checking the basics takes a few minutes. The forwarding number is usually ready within a few minutes, and within one business day when our team has to set it up by hand. Then you dial the code and make a test call. The getting started guide lists each step.
What can't it do?
- Take card details on a call. Payments go through a payment link in WhatsApp.
- Pass as a person. If a caller asks, it says it is an AI.
- Promise things for you. It commits only to what it does itself, such as the booking it just made.
- Handle negotiations or complex complaints. It collects the details and the request waits for you.
- Always reach a person. Live transfer is off until you turn it on. Then it is offered only during your working hours, when a representative is available. Otherwise it takes a message.
- Run long calls. Calls end after ten minutes.

What happens on Shabbat and holidays?
There is no Shabbat mode, and it does not calculate sunset or nightfall. You choose when it answers: always, or during business hours. On always, the AI phone line answers at any hour, Friday night and holidays included. On business hours, it answers only in the hours you set, so if you close Saturday, it does not answer then. The hours are fixed. To stop it completely, turn answering off in settings. Your hours also control the rest:
- Bookings. Set Friday's hours and close Saturday, and closed times are not offered.
- Public holidays. Your country's national public holidays close the calendar by default. You can turn that off or set hours for one date. Holiday eves are not shortened automatically.
- Automatic reminders. They go out during open hours, so a Sunday visit is reminded on Friday, not on Shabbat.
